Jobs
Career support, job training, and employment services for justice-involved individuals in Colorado.
Note: Finding employment with a sex offense conviction presents unique challenges. Many “felon-friendly” employers may still exclude registrants. Always contact organizations directly to confirm eligibility. If you are on supervision, all employment must be approved by your SOMB Treatment Provider and Probation/Parole Officer.

Colorado Chance to Compete Act (Ban the Box)
Colorado law (HB 19-1025) prohibits employers with 11 or more employees from asking about criminal history on initial job applications. Employers must wait until after the first interview or a conditional offer before inquiring. This gives applicants with criminal records a chance to demonstrate their qualifications first.
Applies to: All applicants with criminal histories, including registrants
